Greater Noida World School organized a district-level, one-day workshop on Disaster Risk Reduction on March 30, 2026, in the school auditorium.
The workshop commenced with a warm and gracious welcome by the esteemed Principal, Mrs. Manju Kaul Raina, whose visionary leadership and commitment to holistic education set the tone for the event. In her address, she emphasized the importance of awareness, preparedness, and community participation in disaster risk reduction. Her encouraging words inspired all present to recognize their responsibility towards building a safer and more resilient society
More than 200 officials and participants attended the workshop, which focused on the role of women, self-help group leaders, disaster volunteers, and district-level officials in disaster risk reduction. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished officials including Ms, Anukriti Sharma (DCP, Women Safety, GBN), NDRF Inspector Mr. Raju Yadav, Medical Officer Mr. Teekam Ji, Inspector Jitender Singh from the Fire Safety Department, District Disaster Management Expert from the DM Office Mr. Omkar Chaturvedi, SI Ms Jyoti Baliyan Women Safety. Home Guard Inspector Mr. Vipin Kumar, and Yuva Kalyan Adhikari Inspector Mr. Nitin Kumar.
